HCCRA Youth Hunt & Retriever Academy

This three-day event is a great way to expose the next generation to outdoor activities like shooting and firearm safety, duck and goose calling, upland and waterfowl hunting, dog training, and cooking wild game. Part education, part hands-on experiences, the HCCRA Youth Hunt & Retriever Academy gives kids the chance to apply what they learn in the field. To wrap up the event, the chef at Legacy Acres Hunting Club will be helping participants prepare a wild-game meal to serve and enjoy.

Open to ages 12-17. Participants must complete a hunter's safety course before attending the HCCRA Youth Hunt & Retriever Academy. All participents will be stying at the luxuries Legacy Lodge and all expenses paid for by HCCRA and Legacy Acres Hunting Club
